Robotics Software Architect

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect high-performance software for Robotics Perception, Planning, and Control systems.

• Develop production-level code in C/C&43;&43; and apply best practices in software design and development.

• Evaluate and select appropriate software architectures, including monolithic and microservices, to meet system requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand hardware/software platform requirements and deliver High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI/Computer Vision systems on both edge and cloud platforms.

•  Stay abreast of new technology trends and assess their potential impact on company projects.

• Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance software quality, performance, and reliability.

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication of technical concepts to management and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor&39;s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• 10&43; years of experience with at least 2 years of experience as a Software Architect, with a deep understanding of software architecture principles.

• Proven production software development experience in C/C&43;&43;, with a strong grasp of design patterns.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/Computer Vision systems on edge and cloud.

• Profound knowledge of SoC principles, systems architectures, operating systems, and real-time scheduling.

• Experience in robotics software design and development is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Cognito, IoT Core) is an advantage.
