The 1LMX Human Capital Management (HCM) team is hiring a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in ABAP on the SAP Payroll platform.
Your Mission:
In this ABAP Developer (Staff) role, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the 1LMX program. You will play a pivotal part in optimizing and streamlining our payroll processes. This will involve effectively implementing and providing on-going support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations using SAP ABAP, Schemas, CPI, and other technologies. Additionally, you will mentor other team members as we grow the team to support Employee Central Payroll. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
• software development
• application integration
• application troubleshooting
• scripting
• SaaS application configuration

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This role works a 4x10 schedule (every Friday off) and is scoped for full time telecommuting (Virtual). A US citizen ship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Significant SAP ABAP development, testing, and troubleshooting experience
• Strong background in SAP Payroll (on-premises and or Employee Central Payroll)
• Familiarity in building integrations in an SAP environment
• Well-rounded knowledge of SAP full life cycle implementations and SAP concepts / capabilities
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated working knowledge of development concepts and the ability to apply them
• Demonstrated ability to be self-organized and work tasks to closure independently
• Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a virtual team
• US citizenship required due to program requirements
Desired Skills:
• Experience in building integrations in the SAP CPI platform, including Groovy scripting
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience using additional SAP technologies such as FIORI, UI5, BTP, AL11, and ODATA
• Experience developing web service integrations

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,700 - $227,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
