SAP Software Architect (H/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a SAP Software Architect (H/F) to join our DES ERP CoE Spares & Services department part of our ERP CoE (DE) facing domain Customer Services & specifically here in the Tech Data domain (for now), based in Toulouse, France

You will be part of a team developing from Airbus SAP CoE for Customer Services. Our mission is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support their digital transformation and efficient operations in front of our Airlines customers.

As part of this DES team you will be involved as SAP Software Architect in order to be the referent for State of the art design IT solutions & implementation for Customer Services department, dealing first with Aircraft Technical Data.

Your Challenge 

• Designing SAP Technical solutions / components using best of the art combination of technologies and in line with Airbus Information technology strategy (Security, Digitalization, standardization). Validate SAP Design proposed by the Suppliers

• Simplify Software architecture fostering modern and reusable developments

• Define Non Functional Requirements on best practices to be implemented by supplier for any design and deliveries (patterns, modularity, Hana readiness, code inspector, security, …)

• Be the architect focal point of Techdata in front of Supplier SAP architects, tech data SAP platform team, Airbus security team.

• Build the SAP technical architecture Vision and roadmap for Tech Data taking advantage of S/4 HANA (or SoH).

• Be the SAP CoE Strategy voice into the TechData Functional domain

Your Boarding Pass 

• Educated to 5-year degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology

• At least 10-years Experience on SAP BC, ABAP, object-oriented development, SAP on Hana, and S/4 Hana, Fiori Apps. SAPUI5 is a plus

• Experience in DevOps (ChaRM / Solution Manager) is a plus.

• Experience on performance monitoring and improvement.

• SAP deployment knowledge

• Strong technical troubleshooting, design and development experience across a variety of SAP tech stacks

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesizing complex information

• Good autonomy and ability to work in complex environment (unexpected changes, scope unclear)

• Team Player and collaborative mind-set

• Strong soft skills, proactive, constructive, supportive and support occasional pressure

• Knowledge on Aircraft Technical Data/Documentation on Maintenance, Engineering is a plus

This position required a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Language skills: 

Advanced level in French and English.

Salary range:
Salary range based on the required profile: 50 to 60/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
