Bristow Helicopters UK Search & Rescue are inviting applications from qualified and experienced SAR Winch Operator at the Inverness SAR Base.
The Winch Operator will be responsible for airborne and ground based duties of a UK SAR winch operator including compliance with all manuals and regulations pertinent to their employment.
Minimum experience and qualifications
Hold or be qualified to hold a SAR Tech Crew Attestation (TCA) in accordance with CAP 999;
Comply with all the requirements of CAP 999, specifically TCA training;
Comply with the specified requirements of Part-MED i.e. holding a valid class 2 medical
Have Level 4 English language proficiency,
One year’s previous experience on a dedicated SAR unit as a Winch Operator on helicopters
Experience in prehospital care is essential; the individual will be assessed as to their ability to hold the BHL SAR Medical Technician scope of practice
