Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified Officer Student Training Coordinator to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate training support requirements with the Operations Officer and SOATB leadership.
- Maintain Student databases, applicable reports, data mining, current and historical determinations of Student statuses as determined by debriefing results.
- Assist the Operations Officer with reports and decisions for student throughput.
- Process all Officer students for Officer combat skills training and follow-on basic mission qualification courses.
- Coordinate with external officer schools as necessary.
- Manage the placement of Officers within the Regiment for various staff positions.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for student travel to include orders, lodging, transportation, and preparation of vouchers.
- Monitor and maintain records of Officer student training and progress.
- Utilize ATRRS for tracking and measuring student training.
- Communicate plans for students with Regiment Staff.
- Create, modify, and manage POIs for all students (officers and enlisted).
- Prepare applicable Army forms to ensure student pay and duty statuses are recorded correctly.
- Conduct out-processing for all students and liaison with gaining units to ensure sponsors are assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience as a training coordinator or two years experience as an Aviation Operations Specialist (Army MOS 15P or another military branch equivalent)
- General understanding of Army Special Operations Aviation training procedures, scheduling, and dispatching tactical aircraft missions, coordinating flight plans, maintaining flight logs and alerting crash crews. c. SECRET Clearance

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
