As a Security Compliance Assistant, you will be responsible to provide operational and analytical support for three of the key activities in the Aviation Security Compliance Team, aviation security service provider contracts, crew hotel security assessments and administrative management of aviation security compliance activity to ensure effective and timely service delivery.
Accountabilities:
QR Aviation Security Service Provider Contracts:
- Review Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and QR Aircraft Operator Security Programme (AOSP) requirements to determine the need for additional security measures to be provided by third party security providers at airports where QR conduct flight operations in. Provide recommendations and supporting the planning and implementation of relevant measures.
- Support the team in desktop technical evaluations on prospective third-party security service providers.
- Support the team in raising sourcing requests for security contracts.
- Liaise with the respective QR network Airport Service Managers (ASM) to assist the line manager in determining the security manpower requirements at outstations as well as obtaining management approval.
- Support the team with the on-going administrative management of the Security Compliance matrix covering all third-party security providers
QR Hotel Security Assessments:
- Support the team in reviewing detailed hotel assessment results for accuracy and compliance and provide these to the relevant department(s) as required.
- Liaise with prospective hotel providers in cases where additional information/clarification is required on the responses provided by the hotel.
- Ensure timely submission and completion of desktop assessment reports for hotel security evaluations in line with agreed timelines and procedures.
QR Aviation Security Compliance Activity Administration:
- Review and process of quarterly and bi-annual oversight security checklists and reports.
- Support the team in liaising with QCAA for informal submission and approval of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for QCAA related security non-compliances.
- Support the team in the delivery of the QR Aviation Security Quality Control Programme.
- Support the team in the recording and maintenance of all Security Compliance related documentation and information. (SOPs, QC documentation, security contracts, hotel assessments, etc.).
- Support the delivery of projects required to continuously improve the QR Security Quality Control Programme.

QualificationsHigh School Qualification OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 1 - 2 years of job-related experience.

- Experienced in an aviation security, ground handling in an analytical role

- Understanding of financial principles, metrics and contracts
- Experienced in handling and processing airline service provider contracts
