Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Deployment and Manufacturing OPM. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Join the Deployment & MFG Engineering team for Sentinel and take part in engineering solutions to deploy and deliver a state-of-the-art weapon system to our customer. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with knowledge in change management, Common Product Life Cycle Management (CPLM), Master Production Schedule (MPS), metric reporting and generation, and project management. The candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, be capable of working a variety of tasks in a proactive manner, can task orient, and communicate effectively with varying levels of Government and NGC personnel.
Additional Job Responsibilities include:
Support Engineering Change Management throughout the Design Review lifecycle.
Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) execution and integration between IPT’s within the program.
Generate schedule demand and communicate to leadership
Drive accountability within IPTs for timely completion of tasks by tracking of action items and completion dates
Will maintain data, visibility, and metrics supporting Hardware deliveries.
Utilize tools such as MS Office Suite, CPLM, SharePoint, and Tableau to support mission objectives
Ensure a streamlined cadence for program operations and execution
Coordinate performance visibility to Program Office
Develop and deliver high level briefings to Program Leadership and/or customer
Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives
Implement Lean practices to continually identify opportunities for improvement

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field with 3 years of experience; Masters Degree with 1 year of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Must have the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
1 year experience in manufacturing environments and operations
Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management principles and execution of large-scale projects
Proficiency in creating, maintain and utilizing metrics in excel, and SharePoint
Demonstrated data analytics skill set
Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Knowledge of CPLM, Digital Engineering Environment (DEE), and Teamcenter to support Engineering Release lifecycle (or similar tools)
Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and utilizing metrics in Tableau
Familiarity in program stand-up
Familiarity with schedule management, risk management, and performance management Leadership experience
Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
