Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
Provide electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or similarly related inspection support for production or aftermarket repair services as assigned.
Performs dimensional and visual inspection on a wide variety of incoming and outgoing electrical components, materials, and supplies against drawings and quality instructions for damage and defects following standard procedures.
Document inspection findings in the Quality system detailing results, error and/or damage, etc.
Verifies compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for the receipt of shipped goods
Process shipments using FEDEX, UPS WorldShip, and DHL
Experience with stock put away and storage of finished goods
Completes all required transactions in enterprise system
Works with customs documentation, Certificates of Conformance, and Airway Bills
Proactively identifies possible constraints and manages priorities to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Basic computer knowledge
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift/move material up to 35 pounds.
May be required to work with hazardous materials.
Work environment requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, kneeling, sitting and reaching.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience in Shipping and Receiving (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge of industry regulations, tariffs, logistics and shipping systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Familiar with hazardous material handling, shipping, material handling equipment and office equipment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in Lean Manufacturing Experience (preferred)
