Your Mission:
The Software Developer, Senior position in the Lockheed Martin 1LMX ERP Portfolio focuses on SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG). The developer will be part of the MDG implementation team, working closely with other team members to design and develop complex business solutions. These solutions will be tailored to meet the unique needs of the organization while adhering to 1LMXs data governance policies, standards, and guidelines. This approach ensures that data is treated as a valuable strategic asset.
As an SAP MDG Technical Developer, this role will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the implementation team: The developer will work in tandem with other team members, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance specialists, to create effective SAP MDG solutions.
- Designing and developing complex business solutions: The Software Developer will be instrumental in designing and building SAP MDG-based applications and systems that cater to the specific requirements of Lockheed Martins 1LMX ERP Portfolio. This process involves understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and creating solutions that align with those requirements.
- Adhering to data governance policies, standards, and guidelines: A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring that all developed solutions comply with 1LMXs data governance policies. This commitment guarantees that data is managed, organized, and utilized in a uniform, secure, and efficient manner across the organization.
- Enabling data as a strategic asset: By creating SAP MDG solutions that adhere to data governance policies, the Software Developer will contribute to making data a valuable and actionable resource for Lockheed Martins 1LMX ERP Portfolio.
This position reports to the IT Program Manager, who will provide guidance, support, and oversight throughout the software development process. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the MDG implementation team, contributing to the design and development of advanced business solutions that leverage the power of SAP MDG and support Lockheed Martins data governance initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience designing and configuring SAP MDG and SAP ERP
- Technical experience with ABAP development including MDG specific development
- SAP ERP experience across one or more ECC or HANA modules (MM, FI, CO, SD, HCM or PP)
- Understanding on the key data principles of SAP S/4HANA MDG architecture, functionality, configuration, Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Governance Process, Mass Processing, DRF, DIF and Data Quality
Desired Skills:
- Experience with databases (SQL server, Oracle, Hadoop, etc.) and database connectivity (ODBC, JDBC, data virtualization, etc.)
- Experience with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools such as SAP Data Services, IBM Cloud Pack, Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services, or equivalents.
- Knowledge of Data Quality competencies such as data profiling, pattern-based search, duplication detection, and data cleansing.
- Ability to translate business processes and requirements into technical specifications and/or System configuration rationales/designs while enforcing design standards and best practices
- Experience harmonizing systems, processes, and/or data across multiple business areas and functions

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
