Essential Position Functions:

• Ability to directly develop, enhance and maintain the current set of information systems and applications currently in production.
• Ability to facilitate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of current and future applications through internal resources, business partners and customers.
• Ability to manage the inherent risks associated with new and existing software initiatives.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate effectively with technical staff and with non-technical professional and support staff about solutions.
• Must also have the demonstrated capacity to rapidly learn new software languages, tools, and development strategies as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years technical experience in web applications development projects.
• High School diploma required. Bachelors Degree in technical field preferred;
• Demonstrated proficiency in web development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Oracle SQL database design and functionality, as it relates to coding and to user interface using Oracle SQL Developer.
• Experience in the use of a code source management.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and usage with JSON and/or XML.
• Knowledge of Oracle technologies including Database 12c or higher, PL/SQL programming.
• APEX web development expertise is a must.
• Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher, Jasper Report Server, SAP Crystal Reports a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Linux, including system administration and software installation, is a strong plus.
• Must have a solid grasp of web foundation technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript; and Relational Databases (Oracle) for data storage. Experience in all phases of project management including mission critical projects. Experience in aviation/logistics industry is preferred.
