POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will take on a variety of exciting projects and responsibilities across multiple HR functions, each presenting its own unique challenges and opportunities for growth!
- Provide Expertise: Utilize your HR knowledge to deliver exceptional services and support to our employees and leadership, ensuring a positive workplace experience through engagement and high-performance teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Play a vital role in enhancing HR processes and practices, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the department, and provide statistical analysis to support decision-making.
- Facilitate Change: Lead organizational development efforts and change initiatives that align with our key business objectives, helping to shape our company culture and direction.
- Employee Relations: Enhance team member commitment and maintain positive relations by facilitating communication and problem resolution; provide one-on-one counseling and support for progressive discipline.
- Training and Development: Conduct training needs assessments, develop and deliver internal training programs, and prepare team leaders and members on interpersonal skills.
- Hiring and Selection: Organize and participate in the hiring process, including interviewing, screening applicants, and developing staffing plans in collaboration with team leaders.
- Policy Compliance: Increase understanding of company policies through training and coaching; interpret policies and develop procedural guidelines to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Compensation Guidance: Advise team leaders on compensation planning, assist with evaluating compensation decisions, and participate in pay surveys and budget proposals.
- Benefits Administration: Communicate and manage the employee benefits program, addressing inquiries and recommending program changes to enhance employee satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Human Resources, Business, or related field, and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of increasingly responsible related experience.
- Knowledge of human resources principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to human resources policies and practices. Practical, working knowledge of financial and continuous improvement measurements.
- Ability to use standard business application software and HRIS systems. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business or professional journals, or government regulations, and recommend changes to procedures.
- Ability to work on a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of the situation or data requires thorough identification of factors and analysis of impact.
- Ability to work within general work objectives regarding projects and team goals.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of team leaders or team members.
- Ability to respond to significant inquiries, problems, or complaints from team members, team leaders, and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
