Job Summary:
This position is responsible for programming, maintaining and updated CNC machines across multiple locations.
Minimum Education:
• Technical degree required or trade certificate with requisite experience
Experience:
• Proficient with EdgeCAM programming software a MUST (Computer Aided Manufacturing)
• Proficient with AutoCAD design software (Computer Aided Design)
• Proficient in drawing/geometric design standards
• Must have machining background experience
Required Skills, Abilities and/or Licensure:
• Must be willing to work long hours and weekends if needed
• Must be willing to travel domestic & International if needed
• Must be willing to work in high demand department – (supports equipment in multiple locations)
• Aerospace programming a plus
• Programming exotic (Aerospace) materials i.e. Inconel, Titanium etc.
• Programming predominately turning machines.
• Must be a Team Player
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to complete routine procedures and/or operate standard equipment.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with immediate management.
• Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
