As a Strategic Sourcing Agent, Innovations, you will be part of the Procurement & Supply Chain Aviation division. This role falls under the Strategy & PMO Tech Services department and reports directly to the Supply Chain Leader. The location for this position is the Administrative Centre (CA).

Are you passionate about procurement and eager to make a significant impact in the aviation industry? As a Strategic Sourcing Agent, Innovations, you will play a vital role in our success by contributing to our operations and establishing strong strategic alliances.
- Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances.
- Create and execute effective negotiation business strategies.
- Lead projects and manage the development of the commodity strategy.
- Identify, analyze and realize cost reduction opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen networks with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact with suppliers for new business opportunities.
- Support Sites and/or Business Units with appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate and lead contract negociations and manage contractual claims with suppliers.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelors degree in Engineering/ Business administration/ Law or equivalent.
- You have one (1) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
- You have experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment and/or program management, in a commercial role, an asset.
- You have excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management.
- You are detail oriented, focused and committed to meeting deadlines.
- You are a strong team player, recognized for your leadership and innovation, and ability to mobilize a team.
- Have a high proficiency and are good communicator in French and English (written and spoken)
- You have strong capabilities in operations and financial management.
- You are comfortable with complex technical topics and have knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts.
- You can work with MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook.
