Description:This position is for a Mission Assurance Next Gen Systems Architect Principal supporting Skunk Works/Advanced Development Programs (ADP).

What You Will Be Doing
This position requires excellent technical leadership skills. Candidate must possess experience and initiative to ensure technical leadership and support is provided for the development process. Applicant must be a proven problem solver who can multi-task in a complex interrelated environment. The candidate designs, develops, and oversees anti-tamper (AT) system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. Serves as the focal point for the development and communication of the AT architecture, Critical Program Information (CPI) identification, Consequence of Compromise (CoC) for CPI determination, and Attack/Countermeasure Tree development. Ensures conversion of AT requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Develops AT systems and AT system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.). Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development. Prepares proposal inputs. Provides inputs to and/or steer USG policy. Candidate will also have the ability to travel to Lockheed Martin facilities, supplier’s facilities, and customer facilities.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to the following:
• Engage in architecture definition, technology development and insertion, and technical trades with an emphasis on security, commonality, best practices, and value.
• Ensure that Command Media is followed and that designs are compliant to design standards and contractual requirements.
• Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Program Engineers, Suppliers and government customers.
• Ensure engagement of engineering resources to resolve anomalies and technical issues.
• Ensure development activities, accomplishments, and issues are communicated to the Mission Assurance Senior Manager and Director.
The successful candidate will report to the Mission Assurance Senior Manager and be expected to work closely with the other members of the Mission Assurance staff to ensure synergy across the Aero portfolio.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering/Technical Discipline.
• Experience planning and leading the technical efforts associated with program capture efforts, system/subsystem requirements development, program Hardware and Software Development, and Requirements Verification/Validation activities.
• Experience communicating technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership, and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Experience/familiarity in dealing with the Engineering & Technology functional organization.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
• Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Access Program Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Candidate must be available for occasional domestic travel (up to 25).
• Familiarity and knowledge of Avionics Subsystems to include Communications, Navigation, Identification, Infrared Search and Track, Core Processing, Electronic Warfare/Protection and Radar.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) implementation and best practices.
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple high priority tasks.
• Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to represent LM to customers, employees, and stakeholders.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
