Reporting to Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Recruiter will attract, engage, and recruit talent using various HR platforms and social media, building relationships networks.

The Talent Recruiter will be responsible for delivering recruiting support for Air Canadas recruiting needs and client groups through proactive initiatives, participating in recruitment activities across all Air Canada divisions.

Responsibilities:

    Assist in the full cycle recruitment for the designated client groups  through screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates (in-person and virtual) in coordination with hiring managersDevelop and manage strong business relationships with clients to ensure best in class recruitment and guarantee client satisfactionDefine necessary requirements for open roles with hiring managersTrack applicant activity and other recruitment metrics through the applicant tracking system and CRM platformLeverage applicant tracking system, professional networks and social medias for sourcing initiatives including campaigning, connecting with passive candidates, and recruitment projectsRecommend sourcing strategies on open positions to attract passive candidatesCollaborate with Talent Acquisition leaders on results-driven attraction strategies for current and future recruitment needsBuild and grow a network of promising candidates and maintain relationships for existing and future mandatesContribute to Air Canadas commitment to acquire and develop a diverse workforceParticipate in continuous training to keep up with the changes within the department and organization.Travel occasionally for recruitment activities and events.
Qualifications

    University degree in Human resources or related fieldExperience in technical, mass or management level recruiting (an asset if at the national or multi-location level)Solid understanding of Canadian employment legislation governing employee recruitment, selection, and hiringProficiency with MS Office and web-based applicant HR systems (such as but not limited to Taleo, Phenom, PeopleSoft)Previous agency recruiting experience (an asset)Knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment spaneting and social mediaThink outside the box, proactive and engaging attitudeProven experience in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing customer satisfactionStrong initiative, organization and disciplined approach in fast-paced environment.Flexibility with work hours and ability to travel is essentialThis is a hybrid position requiring a presence at the officeBilingual (French & English)Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
