Technical Work Document/Project Trouble Desk

• Prepare and review Technical Work Documents (TWDs) using the AIM/AIMxp program
  • Includes Task Group Instructions (TGIs) and Deficiency Logs/Forms (DLs/DFs)
  • Provide instructions for naval vessel systems maintenance, repair, and testing
• Conduct material research and initiate a Job Material List (JML)
• Prepare Quality Assurance (QA) documents
• Research drawings using Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) & Ship's Drawing Index (SDI)
• Compile Allowance Parts Lists (APLs)
• Review completed AIM documentation and provide recommendations for resolving technical problems/deficiencies

Project Trouble Desk Support

• Support Trouble Desk of waterfront availabilities
• Evaluate reported deficiencies and recommend resolutions
  • Resolutions go through review and approval by Team Lead (TL)
• Perform ship checks of systems and components as needed
  • Aid in providing recommended resolution for deficiency (e.g., repairs, removal as interference)

• Proficient in using AIM/AIMxp program
• Knowledge of naval vessel systems, maintenance, repair, and testing
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) documentation and processes
• Ability to research and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Understanding of Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) and Job Material Lists (JMLs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
