Technical Work Document/Project Trouble Desk

Job Description:
- Prepare and review Technical Work Documents (TWDs) using the AIM/AIMxp program
- Includes Task Group Instructions (TGIs) and Deficiency Logs/Forms (DLs/DFs)
- Provide instructions for naval vessel systems maintenance, repair, and testing
- Conduct material research and initiate a Job Material List (JML)
- Prepare Quality Assurance (QA) documents
- Research drawings using Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) & Ship's Drawing Index (SDI)
- Compile Allowance Parts Lists (APLs)
- Review completed AIM documentation and provide recommendations for resolving technical problems/deficiencies
Project Trouble Desk Support
- Support Trouble Desk of waterfront availabilities
- Evaluate reported deficiencies and recommend resolutions
- Resolutions go through review and approval by Team Lead (TL)
- Perform ship checks of systems and components as needed
- Aid in providing recommended resolution for deficiency (e.g., repairs, removal as interference)
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in using AIM/AIMxp program
- Knowledge of naval vessel systems, maintenance, repair, and testing
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) documentation and processes
- Ability to research and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Understanding of Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) and Job Material Lists (JMLs)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Additional Information:
- Work closely with Team Lead (TL) for review and approval
- Access to Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) and Ship's Drawing Index (SDI)
- Collaboration with waterfront availability teams and personnel may be required
