DRONE TECHNICIAN
Description:
This person will be responsible for executing tests and documenting the data, and reporting their findings to the team.
Responsibilities include:
Verify that test specifications are correct and can be executed on given resources available.
Create test setups to match engineering specifications which includes interpretation of test procedures and diagrams, instrumentation, data acquisition, test article diagnostics and front line root causing.
Accurate reporting of test incidents written in layperson terms.
Maintenance, safety, and use scheduling of Test Team equipment.
Write high quality and detailed reports that drive to the root of any issues on a given test using data and a first order analysis
Skills:
Troubleshooting, Electro mechanical, Schematic, Assembly, Maintenance technician, r&d, testing circuits, Electronics, Mechanical, Repair, avionic, avionics systems, avionics repair, avionics troubleshooting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable asking questions
Strong attention to detail
Experience working on hardware/software projects and collaborating with engineers
Ability to understand and interpret a wide variety of technical documents (electrical schematics, mechanical drawings)
Ability to organize data in a way that is easy to understand
What tools does this person need to be proficient with from a testing perspective?
Hand tools, bandsaws, manual mills, torque drivers & wrenches
Will use O-scopes, Multimeters, will train how to test sensors in-house (proprietary software)

Body parts & mechanisms of the drone
What tests are they devising? What tests will they run?
Test for reliability
What type of environment does she think this person will be from (R&D or is production or test ok?)
