Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $28 per hour
As a Test Technician at PDS Tech Commercial, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical aircraft components and systems. By performing rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and analysis, your work will directly contribute to the safety and success of aerospace operations. Assemble, disassemble, and rework aircraft components and systems for engineering development and qualification tests.
Perform functional testing per established procedures to verify that parameters are met and specifications are followed.
Monitor test procedures, record data, and maintain test equipment as needed.
Ensure testing meets both internal and external deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards.
Use electronic/manual test equipment, simple hand tools, and mechanical measuring devices.
Troubleshoot electronic components, especially during thermal and vibratory testing.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts (ACE) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and update project status.
Provide training to team members as needed to ensure technical tasks are completed to specification.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with test stands, vibratory tables, and thermal chambers.
Proven troubleshooting skills with electronic components.
Familiarity with SAP and computer-based tools for tracking and reporting test results.
Ability to read and follow blueprints, guidelines, and technical diagrams.
Solid understanding of safety protocols, including hazardous waste disposal.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in electrical assembly testing and verification per engineering requirements.
Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and practices.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (ACE).
Ability to mentor and train others in technical processes.

Pay Details: $28.00 per hour
