We have an immediate need for a Production Associate to join our Thin Film Coating Department. In this role, you will play a key part in the Operation of our Thin Film deposition chambers, developing the skills required to become a Thin Film Coating technician. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Operating vacuum coating machines for the application of single, multi-layer coatings
- Inspecting and cleaning of optical components
- Preparing, cleaning and loading of coating chambers
- Performing metrology measurement, such as transmission, reflection and elipsometry
- Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Completion Post-Secondary in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing)
- Good manual dexterity
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of tooling, machining, gauges and proper use of equipment
- Understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and interpretation
- Knowledge and experience using measuring equipment
- Highly effective communications skills
- Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
- Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
