Tasks

As the Trade Compliance Officer, you will perform the following duties:

  • Maintain/update/develop export compliance processes and policies for LTCS contingent on the latest regulations changes
  • Review and determine contracts to include export compliance requirements
  • Conduct audits at all locations of all export related documents and policies as well as AES EEI filings and other export documentation for potential compliance gaps/risks and to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct export compliance trainings throughout LTCS
  • Review US export licenses to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Remain current on all laws, regulations, and best practices for the trade and their impact on LTCS and operations
  • Communicate with government agencies as required and mitigate any risks or penalties as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years of experience in International Trade Compliance with focus on Export Compliance preferably within the aviation sector or related required
  • Government contractor experience desired
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, FTR, AES EEI in International Trade and Global Supply Chain in an MRO company, Aircraft component and parts provider, Distributor centers, and Logistics service providers required
  • CES or CCS certification
  • MS Office, SAP, ACE AES Direct, Descartes QW as user
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Eligible to obtain national security clearance
  • Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
