Trailer Mechanic 
Greer, SC

Shift:  1st Shift, Hours between 6am- 6pm. Ideal Shift would be 8am- 4:30 pm 
Pay: $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience

LAUNCH TransTechs is seeking strong Diesel Mechanic to perform Diesel Maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks (brakes, tires, oil changes, etc.) on trucks and trailers in Greer, SC. Must have strong Electronic Diagnostic Skills

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trailers
• Welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
• Technical or advanced degree or 2-3 years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of mechanic experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have own steel toe boots.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
