Roles and Responsibilities
* Execute, with limited guidance, the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures
* Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements schedules and contract commitments.
* Assure proper documentation of technical and commercial data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with policies and procedures.
* Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments.
* Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and commercial program reviews with various audiences (GE technical & commercial forums, customers, regulatory agencies).
* Create and own Catalyst engine Workscope Planning Guide, define workscopes for engine shop visits
* Document engine teardown findings and participate in related root cause investigations
* Execute shop data collection for Leading Indicator Program
* Support shop staff with manual requirements interpretation, findings interpretation and troubleshooting
* Support repair procedures industrialization
* Identify and drive opportunities for improvements in engine overhaul processes
* Create and review technical content of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)
* Apply lessons learned from prior engine programs in GE Catalyst product development to meets customer needs.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
* Knowledge of gas turbine engines aviation engines architecture and operation
* Experience in an engineering position relevant to the roles & responsibilities
