Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is hiring for a UH-60M Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) to support a contract we are bidding on concerning a US Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USA-SATMO) training team’s support to the Lithuanian Air Force (LTU AF).
The overall team will be comprised of both Pilots and Maintenance subject matter experts with a tentative timeline for action on this program of mid-May 2025 with multiple option years to follow on.
This is a flying position.
The work location is primarily at Siauliai Airbase, with potential alternate Lithuanian locations.
All Infrastructure concerning living (apartment, cars, flights etc) will be provided by MAG Aerospace and is currently being developed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- The SIP shall serve as the TAFT Instructor Pilot and the Senior TAFT Advisor for unit training, standardization, and UH-60M employment.
- Train and evaluate LTU AF Pilots and Instructor Pilots.
- Provide contractor prepared training for systems academics, flight instruction, simulator support, operation of installed mission equipment, aircraft and team tactical employment, and system sustainment under day, night, night systems, enclosed cockpit, and simulated instrument.
- Manage the teams internal standardization and crewmember training sustainment program (similar to Commanders Aircrew Training Program) to ensure TAFT members continue to meet aviation qualification, currency, and proficiency requirements.
- Responsible for maintenance and certification of air crewmember training folders, monitoring of currency, medical, and proficiency requirements.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Certifications/Qualifications/Experience:
- Served in the U.S. Military.
- Must be previously qualified and rated as a US Army UH-60M SIP
- Must have a minimum of 3000 total flight hours.
- Must have 2000 cumulative UH-60M hours
- Must have 1000 hours cumulative as an UH-60M Instructor Pilot.
- Must be Qualified as an Instrument Examiner.
- Must have experience as an SIP at company/battalion level or higher.
- Must have experience in over water search and rescue operations
Education/Certification:
- Must be rated in the UH-60M.
- Graduate of a U.S. Army UH-60M SIP Flight School/Training Course
- Qualified in the last 4 years – Dunker/Helicopter Emergency Egress Device (HEED)
Security Clearance:
- Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance)
Other Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Flight Physical / Medical Certificate.
- Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.
- Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Lithuanian Visa.
Must provide proof of the following:
- Military Service, (DD Form 214).
- Aircraft Experience and Flight Hours, (DA Form 759, Logbooks).
- Aircraft Qualification Course Certificate.
- Standardization Instructor Pilot Course Certificate.
- (Other), Aviation Certificates of Training and Qualifications.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 to $300,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
