Validation / Verification Monitor

Contract Position
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct validation and verification of technical manuals and diagnostics for tracked and wheeled military vehicles, ensuring technical accuracy and usability for mission-critical operations.
- Validate and verify technical manual pages supporting the Abrams, Stryker, SMET, SHORAD, and Booker vehicle series.
- Conduct validation of operator, maintenance, and troubleshooting technical publications for tracked and wheeled vehicles and related equipment to ensure technical accuracy.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and software downloads on Abrams, Wolverine, Buffalo, and Stryker vehicles.
- Support government verifications and logistics demonstrations on technical publications at GDLS and government facilities.
- Serve as a liaison between GDLS and government representatives to address technical or administrative issues identified during validation and logistics demonstrations.
- Analyze engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications to identify hardware configuration requirements and diagnose system faults.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance required.
- Experience: Military experience with tracked and/or wheeled vehicle operation and/or maintenance preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnostics and systems troubleshooting on Abrams, Wolverine, FOX, and Stryker vehicles.
- Familiarity with ASR Guidelines for working in enclosed vehicles (IAW SP 2-644).
- Competency in Microsoft Office and Adobe for developing and maintaining forms and records per ISO standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work on/in tracked and wheeled vehicles, with occasional out-of-town travel and extended workdays as needed for logistics programs.
