POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for keeping workstations fully stocked with materials, ultimately contributing to overall higher productivity of other workers. The anticipated starting wage is $16.30/hour.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

          Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on time. Overtime is expected when customer demand dictates the need.

          Responsible for prioritizing and distributing workloads for molding operations and staging tooling (molds). 

          Clean mold components for storing, and in preparation for the next job. 

          Gathering powder, mold components, needed parts for the next job to ensure quick set ups for the press operator. 

          Take away molds at the end of the job, clean them, put them away.  

          Maintain organization of mold racks.

          Rack sleeves in preparation for sintering (oven) cycle. 

          Refill production line with materials to ensure a steady flow. 

          Perform minor mold repairs and maintenance. 

          Asset management: tracking mold repairs happening in the toolroom. Ensures timely repairs and return of all components to the mold rack. 

          Read Factory Orders.  

          Ensures accuracy of tooling and materials required for jobs. Ensures timely delivery of tooling and materials to press operators to minimize press downtime. 

          Set up and operate manual equipment with little or no assistance.

          Assist with molding, press operating, oven, sizing duties.

          Actively participate and support the plant’s safety program. Report any injury or near hit immediately to your Team Lead, Supervisor, or EHS Manager. Report all unsafe conditions immediately to a Team Lead, Supervisor, Value Stream Manager, or EHS Manager.

          Actively participate in assigned High-Performance Team. The HPTs are meant to improve the work experience by allowing the employees an opportunity to lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.

          Record accurate and timely data, including order completions and quantity on daily labor reports, reclaim tickets for reject parts, and daily hours worked.

          Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Keep all walkways and aisle free of any debris or clutter. Maintain 5S standards by returning tools to shadow boards. Sweep floor and finishing area as needed.

          Other duties as assigned.
