Tasks
As the Advanced Painter, you will perform the following duties:
- Use, adjust, clean; store the tools, machinery and company equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility equipment
- Setup and operate the ovens for paint and epoxy curing to the proper temp and curing time per engine maintenance manual
- Complete all job/task cards as required per repair scheme and company requirements
- Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
- Must know and obey safety rules for person protective equipment
- Frequently work with other employees from other departments
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Repair Crew Chief and Repair shop supervisor to include cross training on other skill sets such as but not limited to plasma spray

Requirements
You must fulfill the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree desirable
- 1 year of professional experience required
- Fluency in English language required
- Proficient knowledge and use of aviation hand, air and power tools
- Proficient knowledge and use of HVLP paint guns
- Must pass pulmonary function test
- Basic knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent ability to work under pressure
- Excellent ability to read and mix paint to manufactures specifications
- Excellent ability to read and navigate engine manuals
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work some weekends
- Lift up to 70 lbs
- Outdoor weather conditions
- Noise pollution
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
