The Aircraft Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing aircraft surfaces for painting. This includes tasks such as cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers. The role ensures that the aircraft is ready for the painting process, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, sand, and mask aircraft surfaces to prepare for painting.
- Apply primers and sealants to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
- Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure they are properly prepared.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
