Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
* Mask aircraft for protection from stripper application
* Strip aircraft with paint remover, sanding skin and seal aircraft, as required
* Wash and prepare aircraft using appropriate and approved cleaning solutions.
* Prepare surface and apply primer to aircraft for the sanding procedure.
* Sand aircraft skin smooth and apply top-coat application to aircraft per customer approved design.
* Paint stripes per customer approved designs and detail aircraft for customer delivery.
* Perform other tasks as requested by the Paint Project Supervisor. Required Skills:
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
* Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certification.
* Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift.
* Must be computer literate. Education and Experience Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED.
* Minimum 10 years experience painting Corporate and / or VIP /VVIP Aircraft
* Design , layout and graphic experience
