Responsibilities:

• Prepare aircraft exteriors for painting, including surface preparation, masking, and layout work.
• Apply primers, paints, and specialized coatings to aircraft surfaces according to specifications.
• Perform external aircraft markings using detailed patterns and templates.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace painting standards and quality control requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and handle adhesives, sealants, and coatings per industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

• Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in aircraft painting, coatings application, and surface preparation.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred.
