Job Title: Aircraft Painter
Job DescriptionJoin a family-owned and operated aircraft painting and refinishing company that has been providing superior services for decades. We specialize in painting, refinishing, and detailing aircraft with exceptional quality.
Responsibilities
- Mask for strip
- Chemical strip
- Mask for prep
- Prep composite surfaces for primer & topcoat
- Prep metal surfaces for primer
- Acid etch & metal treatment on aircraft & parts
- Seam sealing aircraft & parts
- Priming aircraft & parts
- Painting topcoats on aircraft & parts
- Layout application (manually pulling lines and applying placarding and stencils)
- Painting accent colors & aerospace specialty coatings
- De masking aircraft
- Detailing aircraft
- Applying finishing sealant & non-slip materials
Essential Skills- 1+ years experience in painting aircraft
- Experience with sanding, painting, and general labor
- Proficient in using a spray gun
- Skilled in cleaning and prepping areas for painting
- Experience with hand tools and blasting
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Former Aircraft Paint experience preferred
- FAA Drug Test and Background Check required

Work Environment
Work in a 10,000 sq ft hangar, including a helicopter paint booth. The environment is not climate controlled, and we do not have baking capability. This is a shop setting reminiscent of a WWII-era hangar. The shift is Monday through Friday, 6am - 2pm, with the possibility of overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Kingman, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $32.50/hr.
