Roles and Responsibilities
•tBasic skills to utilize PLC controls, measurement devices, and other equipment used in the manufacturing process
•tBasic skills to safely use loading and unloading equipment used to meet production and quality requirements
•tDemonstrated ability to develop and retain skills for proper and efficient material handling to ensure product traceability
•tDemonstrated ability to develop and retain skills with monitoring equipment and recording data to document the manufacturing process
•tBasic communication skills to identify manufacturing anomalies relating to equipment operation, productivity, and quality
•tAssist in basic maintenance as required to meet maintenance schedules with trainer
•tAdhere to housekeeping standards for the area as defined by the Production Lead
•tDemonstrated ability to contribute to the continuous improvement process by submitting ideas and supporting projects to improve safety, delivery, cost, and quality
•tRead/acknowledge and follow procedures administered by safety, quality, and engineering
•tDemonstrated retention of skills by following processes and procedures, used in operations and maintenance
•tPerform other related duties as required
Job Requirements:
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position
•\tVocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
•\tSubjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards
•\tWork in confined spaces and wear a respirator and/or self-contained breathing apparatus
•\tMust demonstrate the physical capacity to meet the demands of the "Heavy" Job Placement Assessment (JPA) as administered by St. Elizabeth Business Health Services
