Job Description:
Zip Aviation, New York's top helicopter company, is looking for experienced pilots with exceptional people skills to fly Sightseeing Tours and Charters in the NY Area. The pilot will report to the Essex County Airport-KCDW for daily work located in Fairfield, NJ. The 135 charter certificate is based out of KJRB in Manhattan, NY
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check aircraft prior to flights to ensure that the engines, controls, instruments, and other systems are functioning properly
- Fly Part 135 Charters and Sightseeing Tours in B407/B206L4
- Follow all PIC duties and responsibilities IAW the company's GOM

Job Requirements:
- Commercial Rotorcraft with Instrument rating or ATP-Helicopter
- CFI/CFII Preferred
- Current FAA Medical Class II
- 1000 Hours PIC
- Turbine time is required
- Must meet weight requirement of less than 225 lbs
- The ability to work days, nights, weekends, scheduled days off, overtime and on-call during busy periods
- Salary to commensurate with experience and skills. Schedule is 7 on 7 off with some additional requirements for overtime in busy periods.
