Position Summary:
The Sales Account Leader receives orders and performs the order fulfillment process. Specializes in specific complex product lines or difficult accounts or for accounts where sales relationship with customer needs to be built to an effective level of satisfaction, to be expanded to establish base for future business, and/or to correct decline in existing relationship; maintains job contracts from aerospace and industrial establishments for manufacture of company products across all product lines; and supports leadership of sales associate team to meet customer needs through order fulfillment process.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages the life cycle of the customer accounts.
- Reviews of sales contracts, quotations, and purchase orders for meaning and impact on Company regarding profitability, liability, export compliance, economic risk, and other factors affecting customer/company relationship
- Prepares price quotations or bids based on material and labor costs and manufacturing schedules and processes
- Support in the leadership of sales associates and/or other sales administrative personnel to build and maintain a strong customer service relationship with the customer as possible
- Communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries, basic contract language interpretation, and other problems connected with the order fulfillment process including after sale concerns of customer
- Manages customer returns
- Support in updating customer portals as needed

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Fluent with the MS Office suite
- 2-4 years of experience in aerospace account management
Level of Education:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, finance, engineering, science, or related field of study
