Our 10-week internship program provides aspiring professionals with the opportunity to take flight in their careers by providing a dynamic and immersive experience that goes beyond traditional learning. Our interns receive hands-on experience, mentorship, a collaborative environment, career coaching, professional development, and networking opportunities.
As an intern, you will make an impact on the company by contributing to hands-on projects and critical business needs. You will own a project from start to finish with a goal to make a real business impact on Sun Countrys operations. Upon successful completion of the summer internship program, you may be considered for employment opportunities within Sun Country.

Essential roles and responsibilities of a Flight Ops/Tech Publications Intern:

- Maintaining the accuracy of the master manuals in Comply365
- Documenting ongoing Flight Operations processes for inclusion in the Chief Pilots Playbook
- Participate in monthly Flight Operation events that recognize new pilots
- Attending team, leadership, and regulatory meetings where appropriate
- Developing Charter Qual Q/A procedures
- Assist with AIMS
- Collaborating in cross-departmental solutions when required
- Assisting Technical Publications personnel in auditing aircraft for accurate onboard literature (SIDA requirement)
- Assisting Flight Operations managers in the various day-to-day tasks necessary to the operation
- Develop a reliable communication network between SOC and Pilots using existing technologies
- Analyze AQP data
- Assist with MINT implementation
- Develop documentation form to support newly developed Pilot Discipline policy
The qualifications we are looking for in a Flight Ops/Tech Publications Intern include:
- Must be currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college
- Minimum sophomore status by the time the internship begins
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check
- Able to complete the full 10-week internship program (June-August 2025)
