Perform major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install Bell, AA, and other afterspanet kits
&x2022; Perform major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications
&x2022; Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations
&x2022; Perform work in accordance with multiple manufacturers drawings and instructions
&x2022; Measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components
&x2022; Assist in washing and detailing aircraft
&x2022; Assist in flight line duties, including removing main rotor blades from aircraft
&x2022; Document work performed in work order book consistently and accurately
&x2022; Work on a team to ensure quality and timely completions of aircraft to meet aggressive schedule
&x2022; Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE
&x2022; Demonstrate consistent ability to perform most tasks with little to no rework
&x2022; Other tasks as assigned
Requirements Skills/Certifications:
-Airframe license (powerplant license preferred but not required)
- 3+ years experience as an aircraft mechanic
