Responsible for aircraft maintenance and ensure all aircraft maintenance is performed in compliance with FAA, manufacturers, and company requirements. To provide guidance and leadership over the A&P functions of the station. Has the authority to schedule and adjust shifts of A&P Mechanics for the accomplishment of immediate company goals.Duties and Responsibilities• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times• Knowledge of computers• Knowledge of federal regulations• Ability to read and understand blue prints• Ability to read and understand aircraft wiring diagrams• Ability to legally operate a motorized vehicle• Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, aircraft system• Completes all required maintenance records• Accurately records time worked on work order• Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints• Tows and parks aircraft• Required to monitor and provide guidance for tasks• Must be able to work as a team leader• Must be constantly alert for defective, worn or failed parts• Required to monitor station organizational needs, and ensure work area meet company policy
Minimum Qualifications, skills, and abilities:• High School Diploma or Equivalent• Possess a Valid A&P License• Knowledge and Understanding of the English Language• Excellent Communication Skills• 4 year of previous line maintenance experience preferred, not Required• 2 years of Team leader experience preferred, not Required
• Experience and/or training on at least 2 aircraft types - A319, A320, A321, and/or B737, B767, B777 & E190 aircraft preferred.• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Must be able to pass E-Verify, FAA records check, and A&P License verification.• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to:1. Stand2. Lie down3. Kneel4. Climb stairs, scaffolds or ladders5. Frequently lift, pull, and hold objects weighing more than 70 pounds6. Noise and vibration are common when engines are on, so ear protection is necessary.
